At Rokeby it is our aim to get the best out of every student, because of this we put Learning and Teaching at the centre of all aspects of our work. Our vision is based upon clear and concise values: Respect, Success, Passion for Learning, Personal Challenge and Harmony. In working towards instilling these values in every student we strive to provide a safe, healthy, stimulating and exciting environment for all.

We are very proud to be a specialist Mathematics and Languages School. We chose to specialise in Mathematics and Languages because they transcend the linguistic barriers often present in other subjects and students can experience early success. This builds their self-confidence and a sense of achievement which impacts across all areas of school life.

Our curriculum is based around the needs of students and includes extension for the more able as well as support and intervention so that all students leave Rokeby equipped with the skills to excel in meeting the challenges of the world today. Working together, in partnership with all stakeholders but especially parents and carers, we are creating a dynamic and innovative learning institution.

Our exam results have improved in each of the last five years. When we compare ourselves with similar schools we are in the top 25% of schools nationally. However, exam success is only one measure of achievement; our students have made many significant achievements in other areas. These include sports, public speaking and enterprise initiatives.
